Meadows Park care home supports Louth Community Larder

Residents and team members at Meadows Park Care Home have been spreading kindness this autumn with a heartfelt donation to the Louth Community Larder, based at Trinity Church in Louth.

Residents and team members donate to local food bank

On Friday, 17th October, resident Marsha and Amanda from the Activities Team delivered a generous collection of food items to support the local food bank, thanks to the thoughtful contributions from Meadows Park’s team members, residents, and visitors.

Supporting local people through kindness and compassion

Before the delivery, the donations were blessed by Chaplain Helen during her Harvest Service on Monday, 13th October, adding a special touch of gratitude and community spirit to the occasion.

Upon arriving at Trinity Church, Marsha and Amanda joined the volunteers to help sort and store the donations, before taking a well-deserved break with a warm cup of tea and good conversation.

The team at Meadows Park Care Home is proud to support the Louth Community Larder and would like to thank everyone who contributed so generously. This act of giving truly reflects the caring and compassionate spirit that defines the Meadows Park community.

At Meadows Park care home, supporting the local community is an important part of daily life. From charitable donations to meaningful partnerships and resident-led initiatives, we believe small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.
