Welcome to Meadows Park
Care Home

Meadows Park is a 66-bed home, with spacious bedrooms and ensuite wet-room facilities, beautiful communal lounges and dining areas, hair salon with nail bar and a home cinema. A diary of activities will keep our residents busy. As part of our community, residents will be able to continue with their daily routines whilst having the day-to-day needs looked after. Our catering team will provide a delicious menu of home cooked meals.

Meadows Park Care Home combines modern design with comfortable living, and is the first care home in Louth for the Tanglewood Group. Meadows Park is a home away from home for the residents and specialises in 24-hour residential, specialist dementia care, respite and palliative care.

We understand how hard the decision can be to move into a care home, therefore we are on hand to help welcome our new residents and their loved ones into our home. We are able to offer support and guidance in relation to all aspects of care to help make the transition as smooth as possible.

Our Care

Respite Care

Respite care is generally 'short term' for residents who are usually looked after by a relative or professional carer in their own home. It is also for people who have been in hospital but might require a period of extended convalescence at Meadows Park. Many people arrange a trial stay as a temporary resident to see if the home is the right long-term option for them - after which the resident, their family and our team will have a collective discussion about the next steps.

Residential Care

In most cases, residential care is for people who require low levels of support, without nursing or specialist care needs. it may include assistance with washing and bathing, and other activities of daily living. It is most suitable for those who need more help than home carers are able to provide.

Dementia Care

Our team is trained to support people with dementia, and for many of them it is the area of care they are most passionate about. Through daily interactions, activities and compassion, we learn about the individual's needs and help them feel settled and safe. Our approach ensures that residents with dementia receive the quality of care that suits them best.

Day Care

Some people are not ready to move into a care home permanently, or for overnight stays. No two cases are the same. Following an individual evaluation process, day care may be the best initial option. We recognise that as a carer you may still require some support. but also that your loved one may require social interaction with other individuals. The day care services offered at Meadows Park caters for this.

The team at Meadows Park fully understand the difficulties involved in palliative care decision-making and will offer expert, empathetic and sensitive advice throughout the process. Providing a warm and comfortable atmosphere combined with compassion and expertise, our focus is supporting you and your loved one with exceptional end of life care, step-by-step.
